Has anyone ever used Quantum touch in conjunction with their healing session on others or themselves? And if so what was the result. Just wondering if it could add to the power of Spring Forest or if it could cause problems with the Qigong practice. (Quantum Touch is another version of hands on healing, using charakas and breathing techniques).

Quantum:
I have been wondering the same thing. Before I got interested in SFQ, I read the Quantum Touch book and it was a healing modality I felt drawn to. Then, Learning Strategies sent me an offer on SFQ and I immediately wanted to begin it and I thought I would combine the two modalities until I read that Master Lin says not to combine SFQ with any other modality. So far, I am only doing SFQ. Any comments out there from advanced practioners of SFQ?
Thank you.

Hi,
I know many qigong healers who have other experience mixed into there healing technique. Myself included. I may be doing a session with someone, and decide to touch them to put transformative energy somewhere, or massage, to follow up on an area I have cleared, energetically. The techniques may be intuitive , or from a specific past learning experience. Now, having said this, I should clarify, that most the qigong healers I know, that are mixed experience, came through these other modalities, to qigong. They are basing themselves in qigong, not seeking other healing modalities now. It is just in their past experience, along their paths, and they 'are' experienced healers. They really understand energy, and are aware of what they are doing. They are just reaching in a grab bag and mixing stuff.
As Master Lin has stated, SFQ is a 'complete' system. Think of what that means. Through SFQ, you have a health preservation form in level I active. You initiate a meditation practice that lays down a path that goes to the horizon and beyond, you have exercises in level II that develop your healing abilities, in regards to helping others, along with having it function as a health perservation form for you. In the higher levels, more self discovery and experience through meditation practices, advanced spiritual healing technique, etc. etc.. When I look at other healing modalities, perhaps like the one you mention, I don't know it, but I did just look at a few sights explaining it, I see the ability to help other people with it, which is great. It appears to have elements within it , that are good. I don't see it as a complete system, from what I read. I am talking about two sides of the coin here. The healing of others aspect, and, your self healing and spiritual growth.
I could be wrong. It seemed to focus only on stucture, or bone alignment in the quantum touch site I looked at. Nothing wrong with that , certainly, and as I said, they appear to be utilizing/channelling universal energy. I don't know about the spiritual energy aspect. Also, some people bring everything to a practice, making it good, simply because of who they are. They simply have it, are tapped in, and are a blessing in whatever they do.
Another factor to consider is what level one is at. If you are beginning a path of self healing, and helping others, you shouldn't dilute your practice by spinning too many plates. Focus on learning one thing. You will either stay, and be satisfied, fully occuppied and sustained, or, at some point , need to move on , or do something else. Don't load up at the 'get-go', and take everything in your grab bag, thinking the more the better. Simple is good. Focused study is good, in one system, really learning it. Looking at other methods is good, but SFQ is not lacking, as far as something else having an element you are missing. I am speaking of healing and healing work here. Do you understand energy and energywork? Why are you looking at other modalities?? These are questions to ask yourself. Just adding something because it looks good , isn't enough of a reason to complicate establishing a good beginning in energywork, focusing on one thing, to understand what this is about.
There is nothing wrong with learning, and looking around. Keeping tabs on whats being done, ,,,other things. Pick one though, and give yourself to it, to maximize your experience, in that choice. Mixing modalities, mixing exercises, etc., are different things, too. Diluting and mixing are two different things too. We each have to make our own choices. My past experience brings me to this point, where I am saying, SFQ is a really good system for self growth, and also, as a means to help others. I like the way I can't get around the system. Master Lin is very advanced, and I see no end to possible accomplishment, through practice. I have my little personal things I have gathered and maintain, through other past experience, but my path brings me here. I am sure, from a beginners standpoint, or someone who has not had other experience, one might be looking at things very differently, from that perspective. I can only offer guidance , from my own experience. We all make our own choices.
I can say , that there is nothing different going on with quantum touch. Energy is energy. It is either universal or spiritual, as it is defined, in these healing modalities. There isn't an undiscovered energy, that someone has found, and is introducing in a new system. Different techniques,,,,yes. Complete system?? Both energies involved?? Limited or unlimited for self growth and understanding?? You can measure things, with factors like these..

gallen

I'm not an advanced practitioner, but I believe that Master Lin's advice is to not practice different energy systems at the same time. You should leave a half our or more between practices. I believe the time gap is so that you can reap much of the reward from the practice before setting up a different energy pattern within yourself.

It would seem okay to me to follow both. Later, when you are competent in both system you could try blending them. Well you are more advance, you should be able to judge for yourself if there is any advantage to blending.

However, maybe someone else has some practical experience mixing systems with SFQ.

You are perfection.

Iam2, I'm wondering if there is a difference. Master Lin said not to mix energy systems while "practicing the exercises" right? Did he also mean that when you are "healing" someone? I'm thinking different methods are used when healing, and you'd be more "cause" than "effect" while healing someone which would mean other energy systems would not effect you. What do you think?

I think that Faith is one of the six key elements of SFQ. If you feel that you must bring in other elements, then it indicates a lack of Faith in your SFQ practices. I think Master Lin would say that working on your Faith will generate greater healing.

You are perfection.

To answer this, one must know both.

Yes, it is perfectly fine to use QT with SFQ. You would simply be using SFQ energy and directing it.

When you grasp the essence of QT, you'll understand why.
