Confession time. I only participate about half of the time. When I do here is my routine. I review the list of those to enter the circle. I try to memorize the names on the list and their needs.
I do setup an empty chair in front of me. Close my eyes. Then visualize you all going me and forming the circle. I then invite each person on the list individually. I end by welcoming any others into the center. This releaves any pressure from getting the list perfect, and allows for people including others not on the list. I have added my family and friends this way. I then conduct the exercise as describe.
I do it all in silence. I when I've completed the meditation I've spent about a half an hour. I don't use a timing aid anymore. I switch stages in this and all my meditation when the idea comes to me. I always seem to finish with a couple of minutes of what I have allocated to spend.
I've shared some of the group experiences in other posts. Sometimes I can feel a strong wave of energy from the rest of you, other times it is not as strongly felt.
I've also been much impressed with the effects it has had on Inger. I'll have to add her again for a different complaint. I think that Valentine's day will be a good time to add her and myself to this practice again.
As for Inger, she lost a soft lump she had had for several years, after being added to our group. I still haven't mentioned some of her other ailments.
I've thought of suggesting an alzhiemer group session and another for diabetes.
I'll also add that was I review the list during the week I am sometimes drawn to send energy to specific people listed. These are some of my most powerful experiences and I want to thank everyone for giving me these opportunities to share / grow / love.
You are perfection.
