I visited Chunyi Lin's website from the link on this forum a couple of weeks ago and was interested in the books that he had available as well as DVDs etc. However in the last week the website seems to have gone down and I get a 'forbidden to view page message'. Does anyone know what has happened to the site?
I have been practising SFQ for a couple of months now and have effectively replaced holosync as a form of meditation with SFQ. Because it requires more effort, it seems to be more satisfying and fulfilling. I would like to read more about it, particularly the self-concentration meditation, as I am finding my mind wandering all over the place at the moment. I have found this forum invaluable for advice and others' experiences. Peace and Love, Mayork, from Sydney, Australia.

I tried the link and got the page not found message. I did a search and came up with this link http://www.sfqassociation.com/ . It may be that the association has change ISP and domain names. I don't know. Shawn will probably tell us later.

As for the self concentration meditation, isn't that part of the first level material? Anyways, it not specifically for improving your concentration, but a meditation where you concentrate on yourself.

Hi mayork(and Iam2),
That sight has been up and down since the beginning. I don't know what the problems are, but it 'is' down for the time being.

I am glad you are liking SFQ. I would suggest getting level I, if you haven't. Master Lin addresses the Self Concentration Meditation in the level I manual. You should try other aspects of qigong practice too. The active exercises, and, small universe meditation, are also part of level I.
It is ok that your mind is wandering. Let it wander. Let it relax, too... Your gentle focus, can be grounded in the smile, the youthful thoughts, the sunshine ,and the joy. When you observe you have been wandering with your mind, and you are 'aware', just sit in that present moment and revisit those good feelings and visualizations. Your experience, insights, and awareness will change over time, simply by pursuing your practice , as given.

Thanks for your replies, I am 2 and Gallen.
I will try the other site. I have SFQ level 1 and enjoy the active exercises most, particularly 'Harmony of the Universe' although I get so lost in the harmony that I forget whether left or right is next! Thanks for your views on the self concentation meditation, Gallen, I will try that next time.

Love and peace, Mayork.
