Hi Gallen, AgentB, and Iam2,
It is very interesting to hear your views on things outside of Level 1 and 2 SFQ, although I must admit that sometimes (no manytimes) they are way beyond my understandig. But if we don't keep moving in our thinking and understanding we will move backwards.
Thanks anyway for your inspiration and help with SFQ,it is good to know what lies ahead in the more advanced levels.
Love to you all
Walter

Hello all,
I feel it necessary to clearify something. As I said in an earlier post, I didn't want to create the context, within which something is understood. In that case, the sun and moon meditations. I would also add SFQ. As SFQ is also a spiritual form of qigong, one's personal perspectives and preferences can color their practice. There isn't one way that is taught. One's spiritual choices, regarding the master's energy, or however one engages with, or expresses spirituality, are individual. SFQ is open, and compliments whatever one's personal beliefs are. I have found that the spiritual aspect is actually handled , I think, quite carefully, and not as complex as some of the conversations I like to engage in! It is also a fact that one can choose not to engage with SFQ in that manor at all, and may prefer a more universal, non spiritual approach, focusing on self health and healing, and just being a good person. One is not limited by this approach in how successful one can be as a healer, or teacher. I think it is more important to walk one's words, or in other words, it gets back to just being a good person. The actions count as more, rather than, just knowing something, or knowing alot of detail. It is because of this truth, that a beginner, can be just as advanced as the master, simply by being a good person, living a life filled with love, forgiveness and kindness. You really can't 'do', greater than that as a human being, no matter what you perceive concerning spiritual realms or ideas. It always gets back to higher aspects like these, as far as how you are doing, the best you can, by living this way.
Agent B, I appreciate your concern for the earth. Bottom line, the earth will survive, with, or without us. I think we will too. We have alot of work to do. The abuses you refer to are harder to make progress with. It is a very polarized arena. Global warming, no global warming, etc. etc.. A beautiful part of this all, is that we are connected to the universe. From an energetic standpoint, positive energy can take many forms. Getting back to that idea of being a good person to others, considerate and loving... This also helps the earth, in a big picture sense. It is all energy, and a balance of energy. Good is good, in whatever form it takes, and it is recorded and felt. Self healing, healing others, all connects to this too. The earth benefits. This is a bottom line you can nuture, that no one can take away from you, or stop. No one can stop you being a good person, and it spreads. It is, a very effective front to work on , and it does help the earth, just as helping another , helps you. Paying respects is always good. Just sitting in silence, or meditation, honors higher spirits and the earth/universe. Humbling oneself to the universe. Acknowledging. That is all it takes. If you do level I active, and just ground yourself, you become the bridge of that energy from above, through you, to the earth. Changing the energy of your home, and then spreading out. Teaching your children, helping your friends...
Walter, keep an open mind, and enjoy discovering your own truths within your practice, and relative to you. I hope I conveyed to you how easy it is, to be very advanced, through how you live, as opposed to just talking the talk.
love,
gallen

Darn, a post I meant to sent didn't make it.

I'm a dog with a bone.

gallen, I'm very interested in that description. The soul light is in us, it is god's light, omnipotent, the better you can visualize it and it's intention the better you can help others.

You may or may not remember some of my early post. Maybe they didn't even reach this forum, but my best experiences have a strong flavour of that experience. Which is different from my normal SFQ experience.

If anyone can shed any light, thanks.

Anyways, it stopped my waffling and I've registered for the level III retreat.

You are perfection.

Dear Gallen:

Bless your heart for your words. I am the type that always feels as if I am not DOING enough in order to grow spiritually. Your post is such a gentle reminder for me that I am already doing everything I need to be doing. You mentioned that a beginner is doing just as much as a master by being a good person, loving and practicing forgiveness. I really needed to be reminded of that at this time.

Hi,
I visited the forum early this morning, and was feeling the need to return to this thread , and further clearify what I said. It sometimes gets very tricky and somewhat exhausting, to hold together the meaning I was trying to convey. If I read a post, and it lights me up, for whatever reason, I just respond openly.
When I saw your post , Heartbeat, upon returning, I am feeling better! It is a good concept you focused on. One of those simple ideas that you hear alot, but doesn't necessarily sink in to the degree one really understands it and embraces it. It is, quite a transformational concept. Simple too. Like Dar, who posted that he wasn't feeling results, after two days of practice. He was, being a master as he engaged with qigong. Doing the best thing that could be done, but probably doesn't see himself as a master, or , the great destination that being a master on a daily practice, brings one to. Same for what you mention. A great accomplishment and way to go through life, but very subtle in day to day glimpses, and not necessarily seeming like you are actually doing something that will bring you to higher levels of consciousness. Sometimes we see, hear, or realize something common, at just the right angle, and our understanding is elevated, or we get a new boost of clearity.
Now Iam2,
I am glad your wheels are turning... I didn't 'exactly' say what you are expressing, but it seems good, and you signed up for level III, so I am not going to sweat the details! I am somewhat uncomfortable when it comes to saying what Master Lin says. When around Master Lin, you hear aloT. It is not always easy to reconstruct the ideas. He speaks English very well, but there can be some differences in how things get communicated from Chinese to English. The main idea of this soul/light, was , simply that it is there, and it is beautiful, and it doesn't need fixing. This all relative to doing healing work on someone. Also, the idea of one's spirit, which in literal Taoist terms, is quite complex upon first trying to consume it, from Taoist writings. Master Lin, simplifies these concepts, so it is easier to convey and utilize, just like the rest of SFQ. "My" understanding of this light, or what I came away with, were ideas. A soul, a light within that is pure, something we all share in common, a connection, an aspect of God within us, something pure...I think, something more neutral, and greater, than our individual experience. A great way to see other people too, as one in the same , as you. Using the term omnipotent, is just a reference to an attribute connected to God. All or ever present, and all knowing are a few more, but I don't think these were the aspects I wanted to emphasize for Agent B. Our conversation involved working with types of power. Blessings to all.
love,
gallen

Hi Gallen,

Funny you should post just now. I finished reading your other post on the thread and I was a little lost..

Gets hard sometimes to stay in people's realities huh? If, when you're explaining a point, you go outside of what someone feels is "real" to them, you'll lose them...Good timing. Thanks.
