I just got my SFQ Level I and after a few days of doing the Active exercises, nothing happens. I am getting really frustrated and I am already considering returning the whole package.
I am very physically fit but have had to contend with a lifetime of angst, anger and anguish. I was hoping SFQ would help but so far the results have been NIL.

I'm not here to talk you out of return the product if you decide that's the right thing for you.

I'm not an expert, but I'd say that a lifetime of anything would take more than a few days of level I exercises to clear out.

The exercises, help to open your energy channels and restore balance to your system. Unfortunately it's not a life-time oil change. The energy blockages can re-establish themselves. If you check the material you'll find the six sources of blockages as Master Lin has identified them.

Another question to consider is how far along the good-better-best road have you been traveling. How much time have you given to SFQ, when have you done it. Why not try some of the sitting meditations too.

If you check the forums archives you'll see evidence that I wasn't fully comfortable with my technique for at least a couple of weeks. Okay, I still dwell on it at times.

I did feel things during the first week, but I wasn't and haven't been cured of all my ailments; be they mental, emotional, spiritual, or physical. I suspect that my whole life will a journey approaching and maybe maintaining a level of complete health.

I feel confident that if you embrace SFQ you will feel the benefits.

You are perfection.

Hi Dar
Like you I am quite new to SFQ, (now several months into the programme) and hoped to have immediate results. I am pleased to tell you that the results are beginning to manifest themselves. I find it hard to put into writing but I do feel more relaxed, more in control of my life, and somehow more in contact with a Higher Being, Universal Energy, Call it what you will.

I found the self-concentration meditations quite wonderful and at the end of the cassette tape I did not want to "come out" of the relaxed state. At same time I was struggling with a somewhat pathetic and painful and half lotus, but never the less wanted to continue, however my concentration had been broken when the cassette came to the end. Give it a go, it may be just what you need, after all we need to treat the programme as a whole and not just take parts out as we wish.

By all means expect great results, and be confident but also be patient. I remember Dr. Wayne W. Dyer saying, “infinite patience brings immediate results”. To combat a lifetime of anger and frustration may take a little effort in meditation. But it will be worth the effort. Stick with it, you can do it, you have the answer in you.

There are some great teachers, here on this forum, listen to them, they have great wisdom. I am reading the old forum threads and there are many. Have s search for yourself; you may just find what you are looking for.

Take care, keep smiling, be good to yourself, and stay healthy.

Love

Walter

Hi Dar,

Your emotional problems might seem to intensify at first because the channels that are blocked, are trying to open. It might have taken awhile for the energy to block up, and you can't expect to unblock them in a "few days".

Patience is something we all need to learn. I'm always trying to work on that one.

Hi Dar:

You've started a trip of thousands of miles and have taken the first steps. It will take a little more time before the scenery starts to change. Hang in there. I ordered level 1 from Learning Strategies and then did it for a year on my own with no forum or direct contact with anyone and the results were very effective but it took some time and some discipline to do the level 1 exercises 4 to 5 times a week and 3 or so meditations a week.

Your sails are just starting to fill with wind so just do the exercises and don't try to analyze if things are changing or getting better. You'll wake up one day and realize that change is indeed the wind.

Hello, I'm pretty new to this also, but had an encouraging experience the other day when I most humbily invoked the presence of the Master Chunyi Lin to help me during the meditation "Small Universe" and just totally surrendered to whatever would happen. What happened isn't important. Asking for his presence is what was important. Surrender to the peace. Humblepie

Hi Humblepie
I saw Humblepie in concert. Great group.
I'm dating myself here.

Dar, I'm clairvoyant and I can feel different energies of religions. SFQ is the most beautiful energy I've felt. You won't go wrong...

Hello, Dar

I've been doing SPQ for a few months, and I'm delighting in the differences it's making in my life. Anxiety had been a problem for me, one others recognized and named a long time before I did. After only a few weeks on Level I, I released the anxiety. It simply left. I encourage you to keep going with your exercises.

Persistence in doing the exercises makes a difference. I get one kind of benefit from the active exercises and another from the sitting meditations. When I don't get both in, something is now noticeably missing to me.

And, as someone else said about their own experience, the results changed dramatically when I evoked Chunyi Lin's presence and opened to it. That was a Wow!

I would think that a lifetime of anger, angst, and anguish would not, as already said, be healed within a few days.

You might also consider trying out something outside of the topic of energy. Like the Sedona Method, Natural Brilliance model, or something similiar. With QiGong, it seems to me that you're mostly manually releasing blockages.

With release methods, you're permanently throwing them away for good. Just a thought.

Dar,

What are you expecting to happen? Do you expect your body to react the same way as some of the other SFQ practitioners have felt ? That would have add on more to the anger and anguish. If you are expecting something and it did not happen, how does that really make you feel ?

Be grateful you don't have the physical pain some of us have. Thankful for the physical health you have. Learning to appreciate what are already good in you is a good lesson for the emotional grow. Level I active exercise is good to work with, especially going into emptiness and NOT to think about how your body should improve. The meditation should be follow, they are helpful in health and emotional growth. In addition, just do some quite meditation to look within yourself and release the angers. Give forgiveness to what or who ever that caused the anger even sometime it could be oneself. Finding the cause and release it is the best approach. Sometime when anger or stress accumulate, physical problem will occur.

You need to make the decision yourself for the program. Otherwise, you might feel anger there too.
