e from Rome, in Master Lin's book Born a Healer he actually has two versions. Only once in the book is there a verb, all the rest of the time there is not. Now you might think well someone proofed that part and added the verb. Well, Master Lin actually addresses the "exactitude" of the password. Guess what, it's not important.
My take is that it's not an magic incantation, it just some related concepts that we should be embracing and relating to. It's a road sign to where we want to go, not a recipe for creating our destination. My thoughts also suggest that you just pick one version and state with it, this should facilitate going into the emptiness.
As you progress Master Lin notes that you can go into the emptiness in a second, without the aid of the password. If you have consistently done your SFQ you have probably already noticed this for yourself. Just adopting the posture with the intention of meditating you almost immediately feel yourself going into the emptiness.
I suspect (only suspect) that as you progress with a SFQ practice, which follows Master Lin's recommendation for best practice (6 keys), you will start entering the emptiness with just the intention.
You are perfection,
