I can't help with the accommodations information. However, you can always look here for SFQ info.
http://www.springforestqigong.com/

There you'll find a link to this page.
http://www.normandale.edu/continuingEducation/?choice=category&cat=33

Which has the level III course priced at $190

These courses are not in the retreat format, which is preferable to those of us not living in Minneapolis.

Does anyone know if the retreat format will be continued?

Thanks.

Aloha Iam2,

They will be continued. There just doesn't happen to be any scheduled as of yet. Keep and eye on Normandale's web site.

Much Love, Shawn

It's all in the deals; I guess.

The Rainbow meditation is part of the level IV and it usually available at that sight.

There are also books that go with the level III and IV courses. However, they don't sell these at the .com site either. There may be more involved in these decisions than just selling the material, or who is selling the material.

For me this is not an issue. I look forward to the opportunity for be with and learn from Master Lin. I could buy the level for CD and follow the meditation. However, I know that I have so much more progress to make with the material I have in the first three levels.

SFQ is a new system, created by Master Lin. It is still growing. Because of this post I've discovered that Master Lin is now associated with another college. I've also recently read material about appearing with other natural / alternative / cultural healers appealing to some committee concerning legislation on healing practices. Also I've read about the opening of a Healing Centre around Minneapolis (close to LSC if my memory serve me well). The last thing I used to find information about was the SFQ Association, which doesn't appear to have a presence on the web except for an old conference announcement.

Sorry for my ramblings and spectulation, maybe Shawn will share his insights.

You are perfection.

Aloha Iam2 et al.

A couple pieces to fill in gaps...

The Moon and Sun meditation are a part of the level III class that Master Lin teacher here in Minneapolis. There is a level III manual as well, available at the class itself. These do not make up the Level III experience.

The 6-day retreat in October will review level I, II and refinements made to their techniques. From this groundedness in the fundamentals, Chunyi will go into some of the level III and IV information, techniques and meditations. Because the support for that level of work is being given at the retreat, the manual will be available there.

There is not currently a manual to go along with the Level IV class.

The SFQ Association meets every other week at the Crondalette Center on the campus of the University of Saint Catherine, St. Paul MN. I've requested that they put dates and directions on that site, however, there are a couple more things on the front burner of the SFQ company. If you are planning to be in Minneapolis during a future weekend, give a call to the SFQ Healing Center and see if an Association meeting being held and join in.

Much Love, Shawn

Aloha chironVA,

The retreats tend to have location "homes". Level III tends to stay at the Koinania Retreat Center outside Annadale, MN. The Level IV retreat seems to have found a home at Superior Shores, MN. The retreat locations all have lodging available separately on location.

Taking a level I, II, III, or IV class or intensive is an entirely different animal, as they happen over different breaths of time and in different locations not tied into a housing option. Those you'd have to ask the folks at Normandale to assist with some housing ideas, or do an internet search in the location of the class you'd like to attend.

Much Love, Shawn
