Is it ok to call on Natures' energy when calling on the Masters' energy? I don't relate well to religous figures such as Jesus or Buddha. Thanks.

Yes.
Nature has a wonderful 'collective' energy to it.
I would suggest to you, to consider the physical and spiritual aspect of nature, and engage with both. Also, that spiritual and religious, are not the same thing...
Spirit can be looked at, perhaps more comfortably, as an 'animated' aspect of living things. Spirit, gives you, for instance, your uniqueness,,,,your qualities,,,,your personality. This can be found in all levels of nature. Rocks, plants, animals, and humans. I do include humans, and as you engage with nature, at some point as a healer, if not already, include that in what you care for, if you get to a point where you give back, or function in a healing way, within your relationship to nature.
Nature can be the nature around you, that, plus the earth, the sun and moon, the larger aspects around you, or, the whole of the universe.
Nature is a wonderful master's energy. Know that you are already a part of it. Just like any master's energy you call on.

frances I share your feelings about having some issues with religious figures. Their portrayal isn't consistent amongst those project their (whose) message. Some aspects of these portrayals I don't like.
--- ---

I call apon upto three entities for purification, help and guidance when I do my meditation. It depends on my intent when I start a meditation.

You master can be anyone for whom you have great respect. I call upon Jesus at times, but when I do I don't bring all of the baggage that has been associated with him. I call up the best image I can. The one I have the most respect for. An image of the master I believe Jesus to be.

I'll also add that my most powerful experiences are with what I would call universal energy. Some would call it love, and others god. To me, those words seem to well defined and so are too limiting.

When I call upon the master(s) the more powerful, the richer, my visualization the more powerful my experience. Remember that visualization is only one of the six keys to success with SFQ.

To add to these thoughts, I'll say inviting your master to join (or other appropriate words) with you doesn't have to be the subvocalization part. Getting back to my own most powerful experiences, they have happened when I have identified a objective, released it, then either opened myself to the universe or emmersed myself in the now of my experience. Those are the times when I have had my most energetically powerful and enjoyable experiences.

You are perfection.

Thanks gallen and Iam2 for your replies. My heart is very happy! I have had experiences in the world of nature (mainly with trees) that have inspired me to believe that it is full of intelligience, love, and respect for life. Trees are like family, and I am so glad I can call upon their energy.
I used to be involved with the christian right, back in the 70's when jesus was someone you turn to instead of drugs. That changed in the 80's when he became a republican (don't mean to bore you here) and love and acceptance for all went out the window. Since then I have explored other options and philosophies, but am a bit leary of committing myself to any belief system, much less any group of people. Perhaps that will change, but for now I want to experience god (or life or whatever) in a way that is personal but not judgemental to me or others. Thanks again folks.

Hi Frances,
You are on a good path. Wanting to experience 'God(life/whatever)'. Knowing that judgement is wrong, is right on the button. Also being open to change. Tree's 'are' family, and connecting to them is a good thing.
Through them , or with them, you hopefully will experience more of your 'relations', on the same meaningful level.
You will find that the most enlightened people, or masters, can embrace all people, and all spiritual masters, like Jesus, or Buddha, or many others. Just like you feeling the relief of being able to work with the trees, I hope that you someday have the relief of realization that the universe is about love, acceptance, and forgiveness. The higher spiritual masters that have walked or walk this earth, 'all' eminate that truth.
You can come to your own truth about Jesus. There is no hurry, or necessity to it. As long as you are good to people and make no judgements, you will be just fine. There are lots of wonderful spiritual resources to draw on. It sounds funny, seeing him as a leader of only the Christian right, or then, becoming a republican! Perhaps it wasn't him making these choices!
We need to be careful with religious discussions, and respect everyones beliefs. Its relation to the concept and utilization of the master's energy, is all the farther it should go. SFQ embraces all people, and all preferences regarding this aspect of spirituality, or religion. As Iam2 mentions too, it can be a living person you respect. It is , what you respect in that person, that connects you to a higher or greater energy.

Gallen: Thanks for the reply. Good point about Jesus not making the choice (re being a republican). I believe I may have let out some of my resentment towards what happened in the past (so hard to forgive!) and want to apologize to anyone who may have been offended by my remarks. Totaly agree that this isn't a place for religous discussions. I did however want to answer Iam2' request for "share(ing) some issues with religous figures". Anyway, again thanks, love to all.

frances or anyone, I have an email address under my profile. I'll listen to what you'd like to share in private if it isn't quite appropriate for the forum.

I enjoy sharing on the forum, but sometimes private communications is valuable too. For things you're not quite willing to share yet, just writing them down and expressing them can help you progress.

Remember SFQ is message healing.

You are perfection.

Oh, and my "...share some issues..." is actually a mistype. I mean to say "I share your feelings about having some issues with religious figures"
