For Gallen and everyone:
Is there a defining moment when a person should move on to Level 2? I started SFQ, last year around December. I know it will different for everyone but I would like to get suggestions from those of you who have moved to another level. What was the deciding factors that prompted you to move on and get serious with your practice?

Thank you for your suggestions.

Master Lin states that you are ready for the level II material once you have experienced benefits of the level I meditations.

There is no standard defining moment for moving onto the level II or any other level. My personal experience what more like a drawing towards the level III material, and I had a similar questions. I'm I ready for level III? Have I progressed enough? ... Dispite my conscious mind saying I really wasn't ready, I felt strongly drawn to the material (eventhough I didn't really know what was contained in the material).

Within the year I will take the level IV material, but I'm currently not experiencing a similar pull to it.

There is value to the material, regardless the level and your experience. In the last year I have gone through all of the level I material probably 6 times, the level II material 4 times, and the level III material twice. I also relate SFQ teaching to my other learnings and my daily life.

I also keep reviewing the 6 keys for guidance on how to improve my practice.

Focus on the positive. Use the level II material to help create this better world. By going onto level II you do not give up level I, you just add to it.

You are perfection.

Aloha Heartbeat,

Chunyi does set up the level I & II classes as back to back intensives. One can take level I on Friday and level II that Saturday/Sunday. They work hand in hand -as you do the level I exercises and meditations for personal healing, you can be working on others with the level II work. Chunyi says doing good things for others helps you heal. It's not a thing where you have to be in great physical condition to help others heal as you find some modalities putting out there.

Level III and four are different. There is a recommended 3 months+ amount of time of working with the level II work before taking III, and the same for level IV. There is a level of faith, confidence, and focus with the level II work that is needed to take advantage of the following two levels.

Much Love, Shawn
