Just photoread the book again prior to activation. Since you'va already incubated it no need to wait after photoreading to begin activating it. It's like reading the book twice and takes less time than worrying if your inner mind will activate it successfully 
. I think the use by date(perhaps it's 'activate by date') will depend upon how important you orginally considered the information. The 2 to 5 minutes spent photoreading it again to freshen it up helps to restablish your purpose.
