Kaiden, what you said about the pop corn and coca cola is not exactly true according to the materials I've read. It IS true that not everyone ate pop corn and drank coca-cola that night but it is also true that the vendors sold more of both, alot more.
I've used alot of subliminals through the years (going back to the mid-80's) and I would say that there plenty that I noticed no particular change even though I played the heck out of them. However, with that said, I have to say that the the Eldon Taylor tapes were VERY good and effective---even though they're not subliminal tapes in the truest sense of the word. You can't make out the words but you can hear that they're there and for a subliminal that is LOUD! There have been quite a few documented double blind studies on the E. Taylor tapes (Inner Talk) including one study that was done in the Utah State prison and others throughout the country and also in Germany. The tapes work. The above poster could easily play one in the background with an ocean or mountain stream background and also a paraliminal on the headphones. It would be a very potent combination indeed! And a very relaxing one at that!
I would recommend a music Inner Talk tape in the car though OR an Inner Script tape from Quantum Quests. These are great for the car (I use them myself with really good results). The Inner Script is a supraliminal tape in which you can hear the words in the "you" format and underneath the mountain stream background are subliminal affirmations in the "I" format which you can easily verify with a set of headphones. Better than paraliminals? In my condo the answer is NO ---although they also DO get results. In my car, they are MUCH better than any hypnosis tape due to safety precautions.
Personally for car only use, I'd recommend the Inner Talk from Eldon Taylor in a music
format or the Inner Script tapes from Quantum Quest.
For home use, I'll take the Paraliminal and HPP tapes every single time!
