I had a really great experience at work last week. I am an RN and work in a clinic setting in adult medicine. One of the doctors came to me for help. His patient had a laceration over the left eye. The doctor, in attempting to clean the wound, had started it bleeding again and couldn't get it to stop. The doctor asked me for equipment to stitch the wound, but we do not have this equipment at the clinic where I work. People who need stitches must go to ER. We also don't have the glue they are using now to close wounds. What we have is tape called steri-strips, but they must be applied to a dry surface.
As I was applying pressure to the wound with no noticeable effect, I remembered the hand posture Master Lin taught us at the retreat: thumb over middle finger and touch the wound with the ring finger. I tried it and sent the message: bleeding stops, all energy channels open, wound is completely healed. Of course it worked. The best part was telling the doctor what I had done to stop the bleeding.
Where I work we have a doctor from Hong Kong who is totally devoted to western medicine. He has no faith in Chinese medicine whatsoever. One day we were trying to help a patient who was very short of breath, alarmingly so. He looked like he would soon get to the point of physical collapse, because he was struggling so hard to breathe. We wanted to send him to emergency room, but he refused and was ready to walk out. I asked him to let me work on him using Qigong and try to help his breathing. His doctor stood in the doorway and watched as I used sword fingers to cut up his blockages, removed the stuck energy and sent in new energy. Within 2 minutes his breathing improved dramatically. The doctor was amazed and pleased. He said he wished he had it on video and he would never have believed it if he had not witnessed it. Double triumph! I was pumped!

Wow, I love your stories. I wish I had been there too.

Your confidence must be soaring. Mine has taken a little flight just reading about it.

Thank you for sharing.

You are perfection.
