Does anybody know if wearing a QLink pendant while doing Qigong active exercises will enhance your practice?

For those of you who don't know, QLink pendants repel electromagnetic fields (EMFs)given off by electrical appliances (e.g., computers, televisions, hair dryers, microwaves, etc.) while protecting your own energy field.

Just wondering. It seems like it would be a beneficial adjunct.

Having played with alot of gadgets, I don't believe that the Q-link will be of any help to you, in fact it will probably act as more of a blockage.

From my understanding the Q-link will work to maintain your energy pulse in your body so it is somewhat unaffected by EMF's.

In Qigong you will raise your energy level and the Q-link will act to resist this.

It is also best to do SFQ out in nature away from the influence of EMF's so the Q-link would be unneccesary under these conditions.

Another example is in Tibet everyone wears a lotus bell ( at least they use to ). The Earth energy is so strong that the Metal Bell helps to exhaust the earth and make the energy more benficial to it's wearer. They put them on cows and kids and everything. When they are away from that area there is no reason to wear the bell.

When you are doing SFQ, and you are recieving the right message, that all is beneficial energy, maybe you don't really need it.

Q-Link pendants are unnecessary to the qigong practitioner and there are many similar products on the market, many of which are counter-productive. If you must indulge yourself, a number of Chinese qigong masters do make available qi-energized objects for maintaining the integrity of your qi-field and preventing the intrusion of qi modulated with incompatible messages or signals. A couple of examples that come to mind include

Is it okay then to wear the Q-Link while I'm at work? I'm bombarded by EMFs from my computer, the heater under my desk, a laptop on the counter to my right, the telephone, radio, the copier and fax machine and (2) printers -- which are all in close proximity to me.

I would yes to wearing the Q-link at work but as you practise SFQ and become stronger your intuition may tell you that you don't need it any more. You have an energy field too, and you also bombard your computer and everything else with it.

I tend to believe that all those machines are organic and on a basic level make a connection with you. If you put out an energy that is warm and friendly, these emf's don't really bother you.

In working with many engineers over several decades, the really good ones talk to the machines and talk like they are their sweetheart. The ones that "talk" to machines like some hunk of junk and beat on it never seem to make anything work right.

Whenever I left to go to work and my wife drove my truck, it always broke down. New truck, no reason for this. I finally asked her what she thought about the truck and what did she say to it? She didn't like it she never said anything nice to it.

I explained that the truck got her to and from work in a safe manner with nice music and comfortable seats, why would you dislike something that did that? I told her to go out to the truck everyday and say "good morning baby" and give it a little pat on the dash. Maybe a thank you for the good service.

It hasn't broke in over two years. You could try this with your computer and every emf thing in the area and see if the space doesn't lighten up.

Thank you for your response. I will definitely take your advice.

To be honest, I haven't really noticed much of a difference or benefit from wearing the Q-Link. My mother couldn't stand to wear her's -- it made her feel strangely uncomfortable and actually raised her blood pressure. Guess her constitution is just too sensitive.

Normally, I would have been skeptical about wearing such a thing, but a lot of pro-golfers endorse it and so does Deepak Chopra. So, I thought I'd give it a try.

However, to be on the safe side, for now I will continue to wear it at work -- at least until I feel I no longer need it.

Thanks again!

catasana,

No, I don't recommend the Q-Link at all. I've discussed this before in this forum but see this explanation at http://bioharmonics.com/html/products/polarizers/use/energyprod.htm

And just because Deepak uses it doesn't mean we should run out and buy one.

Just as you would shower and brush your teeth on a regularly basis, you need to cleanse and remove toxins from your energy field every day. This can be done mentally or in meditation. Keep 'em clean! Filth just attracts more filth. Get rid of the toxic stuff and replace it with the good stuff every day with qigong. Nature abhors a vacuum.
