I have been involved with SFQ for just about a year now (did Level I with Master Lin at the national conference last November - what a powerful conference!). I started doing Small Universe right away and my right leg initially gave me "conniptions." It jumped all over the place and literally roared with tingling sensations. Gradually that went away. More importantly though, at that time, my brother who was just finishing his chemo treatment for stomach cancer started doing Small Universe at my urging. I can't tell you how weak he had become with the double whammy of 7/24 chemo for six months and radiation concurrently for five weeks. He was barely able to whisper.
In January, he left a message on my answering machine, and I was struck with how strong his voice was. I mentioned that to him and he thought a while and then said, "You know, I think what has helped me more than anything else has been that half hour of breathing every day." He continues to do small universe everyday, and he just had his second body scan since last December and he is all clear. He says that he finds that whenever he feels tired, doing the small universe picks him right up. He always does it standing up.
An ocean of thanks, Master Lin:-)
