Kev, I see you in the same boat. You're just a little further ahead of me.
My negative attitude won't be that easy and I have a hard time to feel the energy, but as soon I switch over to do the Harmony-- its gone completely. I like this exercise very much, even so I can't straighten my arms and hands. It keeps my mind from wandering.
At least I've made the best progress with the 7 Steps. I just keep the supporting leg slightly bend and concentrate on the energy flow only. Pulling it out of the earth to the next spot, then follow it down all the way before I let the heel down. A ballerina will stand on the toe for a long time while she is occupied with her act. That leg will constantly move to keep the balance without thinking about it. Not just me, I think everybody had trouble with that.
Now I can rather concentrate on the healing, which the doctors couldn't do. There was something wrong at my spine for years. Now it's completely gone. At the throat my vocal- cord had an open wound and was bleeding over six years. I'm still watching it and can talk a lot better now. The water retention in the legs is still there, but I have control over it with a special massage and exercises from the Taoist theory. Since then I don't have to ware the long-sleeve socks anymore.

Love, John
