About a half a year ago I started to smell intense smoke smell almost every day. I was told that it is the healing energy, chi. Well, it lasted for 2-3 months and the stopped.

Now I have started to smell smoke again this weekend in connection with paraliminals. 2-3 weeks ago my other than consciious mind made some kind of synthesis of all of my knowledge of SFQ, NLP, paraliminals and what else.

It is interesting to notice that all these appraches are leading to the same door. The three letters may be different but deep in the mind the basis is the same.

Interesting question.

I used the vague term "door" because I found it difficult to describe what is going on inside my head and body with words.

Now that I think of it I might call it "healing" also. Though that word is not as meaningful to me as "door".

If this explains any?

Maybe a door to the ballpark where the same game is played but the players are all very much individuals.

purjo, I find that all I study with respect to making myself more complete or more happy or just general what I would call better all seem to point in the same general direction. I have to admit that of all the things I learn I find them all a little short with the exception of SFQ.

I don't know what your smoke experience is like. At times I will have a significant experience of smoke. It is not related to my own SFQ practice. It is definitely not any real source of smoke. However, it is always late in the night, when I've stayed up longer than I would normally.

I do not know what it is. It is very strong and lasts a few minutes. Others do not note the smell, even if I ask them.

At times I use inscents with some meditations. My smoke experiences are somewhat like this and a bit like cigarette smoke. It's not as parfumed as inscents sometimes are. It's not as acrid as cigarette smoke is.

Just sharing something that may be similar.

Very well said, Iam2. I could say the same with the exception that for me the combination of SFQ and NLP is the ideal. Both of them provide essential ideas to me.

Yes, our experiences sound similar enough. Half a year ago I smelled something reminding of cigarette smoke. Then it changed to plain wood smoke. Sometimes it was so strong that I felt my nose irritated. It was quite intense, it could last minutes, hours, days...

Some occasions I was in a room with a fireplace and smelled the smoke. I had to ask others if they felt the smoke. Well, they did not. It was my own internal experience.

I have learned to accept it as it comes. Actually I welcome it, because it is to me a sign that I'm making progress. The kind of progress that my other-than-conscious mind prefers not to tell my conscious mind.

purjo;

Sometimes your higher self or Masters are trying to tell you something and you might have to explore what the significance of smoke is for you. In my case it would signify a great change is about to happen. Once the the right ingredients are there it would create a flame and a change of state.

Or in your case you have experienced smoke whenever you are practicing SFQ. I would take it as a signal to continue, you are being supported in this effort.

My offering of what is on the other side of the door is only a suggestion. Your door may hold the answer to the smoke you are experiencing.

In my experience it is a new skill to learn how to interpret the meanings of these messages we receive. When these perceptions are received they many times don't seem to apply, but as life unfolds it makes perfect sense.

As you experience this a few times your trust level goes up and pretty soon you just "go with it". It doesn't have to make sense. Making sense is kind of limiting anyway when you are dealing with Master's Energy.

Hope that is of some help

Jeff

Jeff,

Now you are speaking to me.

I might add that the smoke may be connected to situations when I learn something new. Neew neural paths forming? Maybe. Anyway, it's not the only explanation, I know. A nice one though.
