As I want to make sure I have the correct technique, Chunyi Lin states in the Level 1 SFQ course that you should not eat or drink 1/2 hour before or after doing Spring Forest Qigong. I wanted to know if it is OK to take a pill with a glass of yin-yang water right before, or does this have to be also 1/2 hour before. Also, Chunyi Lin mentions not to use cold water right after the SFQ for 30 minutes. My question is: Can I take a warm shower right after the meditation and/or active exercise? Please advise. Thanks.

Preferably not. Try taking it 20 minutes before.

Leave some time between the meditation/active exercises and the shower. The channels are all open, and coming into contact with water while this is going on is not a good idea.
