At first, this may sound like I'm referring to Dr. Wayne Dyer's wonderful book of the same title, but in reality, I am referring to the "Power of Intention" with regard to SFQ. I am very new to this. I ordered my audio/video/book materials a few weeks ago. While I was awaiting receipt of the materials, I felt very confident in this method of healing. While I was waiting receipt of the materials, I was already being flooded with confidence in SFQ. I have been suffering from frozen shoulder for the past eighteen months. Injections, extensive physical therapy were of no avail. I stopped going for therapy in December. While recently anticipating receipt of my SFQ materials, I was spontaneously healed of approx. 98% of my shoulder pain. That's what I mean by "The Power of Intention." May this be a source of encouragement to all who read this! Rosanne

Thank you for sharing your story RoSpinner.

How much did you know about SFQ before you ordered the course? What kind of intentions or thoughts did you have when you made the decision to order the course?

I found out about SFQ through an ad I received in the mail...one which I usually discard, but I read further, and did some investigating about qigong. It sounded very sincere to me. I prayed about it, and decided to order the course. During the weeks I was waiting for the materials to arrive, I was exercising at my local gym, and thinking to myslef "of course, my Master would certainly be willing to heal me if I asked Him." At that very moment when I said those words to myself, I noticed that when I was doing my exercises, my shoulder was tremendously improved, more flexible and very little pain for the first time in eighteen months. This happened spontaneously and all at once, not gradually. I didn't believe it at first, and when I went from one exercise machine to the next, my shoulder responded properly over and over again. I told the director at the gym. She asked me two days later.."is your shoulder still good." I told her (unbelievably)..yes, it is!! That is what I meant by "the power of intention"...my desire to have the course materials, in my opinion, actually set the healing in motion in advance!
Peace! Rospinner

Intention isn't the word I would have chosen, but it's probably a very good one for you to work with, at least for now.

After you have your material I suggest you review Master Lin's six keys to success and reread your above post with these in mind. For me, when I read your description the key words for me are "of course". Two of the often hardest keys are wrapped in them. There are elements of the other keys in your description.

As for the fast healing, well there are a lot of elements involved in every case. Master Lin speaks of healing quickly, of not wanting the pain to last longer than it must. However, there is a lot of material that indicates we should not judge our success by what we "think" has happened (mainly with the perceived failure).

Thank you for sharing a great experience.

You are perfection.

Please allow me to clarify something. The word "intention" as I referred to it in Dr. Dyer's book is not viewed as a pit-bull kind of determination as one might usually use the word, but rather Dr. Dyer researched intention as "a force in the universe that allows the act of creation to take place." The book explores intention-not as something you do, but as an energy you're a part of. This book looks at intention as a field of energy you can access to begin co-creating your life. When I reread Chunyi Lin's Six Keys to Success: faith, confidence, calling upon the master's energy, visualization, focus, and consistency, I can honestly say that I was feeling all of those things Chunyi Lin mentions, and the confidence comes from knowing that "if the healing does not come today, then maybe tomorrow, or the next day..." I agree that we should not judge our success by what we "think" has happened, i.e. when we perceive failure. If I had not been healed at that moment, I still would have pursued the SFQ course when it arrived. The reason I attributed the INTENTION to do SFQ as THE VERY THING that cured me is that all else had failed thus far, and I was being open and trusting for the first time, and my Master wanted to let me know that I'm on the right track. Thank you Iam2 for taking an interest in my post.

RoSpinner, thanks for the insight into Dyer's use of the word intention. I've seen him on PBS and was well impressed with him. I felt the sincerity of his message and found nothing in contradiction from what I've taking to be true from SFQ. Which is saying something, since I tend to find things I disagree with in the teaching of most others, including of qigong systems I've learned a little about.

More personal information, the content of SFQ is the one thing I've found the greatest harmony with my own beliefs, and the most complete from my perspective. That is to say, it ring true for both side of myself.

As for intention being "a force in the universe that allows the act of creation to take place", I think of Master Lin's words that relate so many thinks to a form of energy / qi. So it's easy for me to take my understanding of the word intention, a thought with purpose, and equate that with qi. To me it is easy to say they are two poems about the same rose, both accurate but different.

Thank you again for sharing.
