Hi,
I am currently using Centerpointe's Holosync Meditation Program (the technology used in the paraliminals) and I was wondering if anyone is using that program in conjunction with SFQ. I just placed my order for SFQ and am anxiously awaiting its arrival.

BarbM;

Hi Barb; I practice both, daily use of SFQ and Holosync. Have for almost two years now.

In the beginning I made all the mistakes of mixing both practices, trying the exercises or the meditation technics while listening to the holosync cd. It was not the best decision ever made. Living in the world of multitasking and trying to become more efficient does not always give the best result.

My preference is to do holosync in the AM when I wake up.

I enjoy going to bed after doing the SFQ exercises/meditation. I sleep very good and wake up in the morning full of energy.

It took me some time to come up with my little system that did not mix practices so that they complimented each other. Not wanting to give up either.

Best of luck to you.

Jeff

Thanks for your reply, Jeff. I have also been using Holosync for two years and was wondering how best to integrate it with SFQ. I currently do my Holosync in the morning, so your suggestion to do SFQ in the evening should work well for me.

Thanks again!

Hi Barb,
I'm also new to SFQ and have been using Holosync for quite some time. My plan is to do them separately. I'm also doing the Paraliminals, and I do those while I'm working out on exercise equipment at home, so I can combine two things that are good for me!
If you struggle to find time, try using holosync as you're falling asleep at night. I sleep so great that way, and wake up at some point long enough to get rid of the headset.
I suspect that once the 'newness' of working QiGong wears off, it might be possible to combine with other things, but when you're learning something new, it's always best to keep it separate. I'm anxious to hear how you do!

Hi Jana,
Thanks for writing. I currently wake up early (4:40 AM) and do my Holosync. If I use it before bedtime, I have difficulty falling asleep. I work full-time (7am-4pm) and also tutor most evenings and do a lot of volunteering. I believe that SFQ will be a tremendous benefit to me, I am just trying to figure out how to fit it in. Jeff suggests that I do it before bedtime and I am planning to give that a try. If you have any other suggests, please let me know.

Hi BarbM
as well as all the suggestions you've received so far, I have a busy day like you and what I now do, is incorporate at least 30 minutes of SFQ, mostly meditation, into my lunch hour - it's a fantastic midday boost and my staff now come and shut my door if I haven't done so between 11 and 1 each day. They also like me to give them a healing energy boost when they need it as well.
With Love
Jetay

Jetay,
Thank you for for sharing your practice of doing SFQ during your lunch hour. I will try to do the same.

It comes up qurterly it seems.

Enjoy your time with them both.

Thanks,Shawn! I took your suggestions and found some very helpful and interesting posts. I just received my SFQ level 1 package yesterday and am looking forward to getting started. I'm sure you'll be seeing more posts from me in the future.

I am so disappointed that my response was deleted. I'm sure this one will be also. I know that there is a connection between Learning Strategies and Centerpointe but I thought that there was more honesty and openness to other ways to helping people. I really believed this was not just a site about making money but I see I was wrong-
