Hi Everyone!

I am still very new to SFQ and hope that some of you might be able to answer a few questions I have.

First, it says in the level 1 manual that we are supposed to call upon our master's energy whenever we do anything in SFQ. Do we call on the master's energy before or after saying the password or does it not matter?

Second, it says in the manual that when you first begin practicing, you will feel the energy and then after awhile you will not feel again because you have opened up your channels and more enery is required. (At least that is my understanding of what it says.) I have experienced the initial energy, then went awhile feeling little or no energy. Lately, I have increased my practice time considerably and felt a great deal of energ. Now I am feeling little or no energy again. Is this a "normal" cycle that I can expect to experience periodically with continued practice?

And finally, how do you let your friends know that you do healings? I have some very left-brained friends who very well might think I have gone off the deep end... I have other friends who are much more open and accepting of such things.

Thanks!

Barb

Hi Barb;

I have always asked for Masters Energy after saying the password, I believe I read it in the materials that way, but it also made sense. Being predictable and having a pattern is more important. The Universe is on the same page as you, the Masters know what you are doing. Changing things around adds confusion and wastes time.

With regular practice your energy level increases, sort of like filling a pot with water and then it over flows and begins to fill the larger pot the smaller one sits in.
When it starts filling the larger pot you feel like nothing is happening but your energy has really increased alot. When it begins to fill up you feel the energy again and then you overflow that pot and start again; just as an example.

Healing your friends; I started with family first and they were very receptive. Outside of family I let my intuition guide me on this. Sometimes there is someone that needs it and I just go for it. They can say "weirdo" and I say "that's Mister Weirdo to you, so shall we try this?" and I've never been rejected, easier than asking someone to dance.

Hope that helps

Jeff

Hi BarbM

Like Jeff, I call, with gratitude and deep respect for the Master's energy after I have said the password and he has never failed me yet.

I like Jeff's "pot" analogy regarding the build up and overflow of energy. I have always likened it in my mind to climbing and plateauing and then climbing some more, always getting higher and higher even though I may not notice it during the times of the plateau. Occasionally this has been a little frustrating or disappointing as I initially wanted my experiences to get bigger and better all the time. I'm a lot more patient with myself these days.

About helping people who may think the healing is strange, I don't impose myself on them, but I will offer to help and if they don't want the healing, I will often do a distance healing.

I have had some really interesting reactions from friends and family who were sceptical but went along with me and allowed me to do a healing on them - kind of like - what the heck, let's humour her - and then - wow - the pain is gone - or - my goodness this is so weird, I could actually feel something coming out of my body or the pressure been relieved, or the heat going away etc!

Master Lin says in his CDs, that there are some people who won't get an energetic response and will need to consider other alternatives like acupuncture or TCM.

Keep up the excellent work - you are doing really well!
with love
Jetay

Thank you SO MUCH for your insights, Jeff and Jetay!

The images of filling a pot and also of climbing and plateaus are very helpful images for me.

On my very first day of practicing SFQ, my very skeptical, left-brained daughter was bitten by her father's dog. I offered to do sword fingers in an attempt to relieve the discomfort. She reluctantly agreed. In the morning she called me at work saying "You fixed me! My finger doesn't hurt anymore!" She has subsequently been very skeptical about "that weird stuff I do."

Jeff, your suggestion to use my intuition on this is extremely helpful. Whenever I follow my gut instincts in anything, I have never gone wrong. And thanks for your encouragement, Jetay!

With love,

Barb
