purjo, I am more like you than you may think. I believe it is find, proper and desireable to think and analyse things. However, it is a matter of the right time and place for each type of energy.
Save the analysis for after the experience.
Since you use the OTC phrase a fair bit, as do I, but not normally on this forum. I'll share a bit related to my thoughts of the Other Than Conscious... which I take as a LSC centered descriptor.
First is don't necessarily limit you guidance as being the traditional idea of OTC. Open more to the concept that the guidance may be external.
The next is from Paul, who said you can not both be in the experience and analyse it at the same time. In my experience it is more important to have the experience than analyse it.
One of the set of phrases I've used before doing a meditation are: "Right now, this is the best thing I can do for myself and those I care about. I give myself permission to do this. I choose to do this." The paraliminal folks will hear some familiarity to these phrases.
Well the have the elements that I needed, at the time, to immerse myself into the meditations.
The other thing about release, which is also one of the four steps in the natural brilliance methods, is not to just release control but to release your expectations. Oh, and releasing expectations is so close to letting go of labels and judgement. Yet another good thing to do to help you immerse into your meditations.
Just some thoughts, I hope will help.
You are perfection.
