Aloha Nickie,

We had a participant from Hawaii at last year's retreat and I think another friend from Maui is going to make it this year. It will be good to have you there if you choose to come.

The 6-day retreat is set up to do a review of Level I and II materials, then step into level III, IV and other things not normally found in his classes.

Its ideal for our customers who have the homestudy courses and want to do additional advanced work with Master Lin. There were participants from Australia, UK, Canada, Singapore, Ireland, Switzerland, Netherland, Italy, Jordan, Germany, Cayman Islands, etc.

You will want to review the level II home study course once before attending, as you'll be developing your healing skills, energy, and confidence throughout the retreat. If you call Learning Strategies to register, Pete Bissonette can assist you in getting the Level II home study course for the retreat.

Yes, there is enough level I, II, III, IV, and between the lines information for you to spend the next 10 years to understand and integrate at a practitioner level.

You'll get and absorb exactly what you need to get and have your notes and experiential information to access later when you're ready or need them.

I remember a friend coming to Chunyi after 7 years of doing the work at a practitioner, healer, and teaching level, saying he finally got what Chunyi was saying about something in level I. It wasn't about getting an exercise right or remembering a technique. It was an example of there being so much more going on than at the surface level of the class notes.

The information piece of the retreat is not the most important part. During the 6 days you will be doing active exercises and meditations with Master Lin. Its in these numerous sessions, as Pete mentioned in his talk, where your development really happens.

Practitioners like those we had as guest assistants, continually participate in his trainings and events. Not as much for the information, but for the opportunity to receive guidance and energy from master Lin to heal at numerous levels and develop their energy level.

Darcie Gustine has been to all his classes countless times each and said the 6-day healing retreat was the most incredible event she's been to with him. That, from an advanced practitioner seeing what's being put out there by Chunyi, the group, and the event at an "other than content" level.

Yes the food is excellent and Paul, I and Learning Strategies aim to create the best supportive learning environment possible for the participants. This along with small group lunch discussion time, outdoor qigong work, and hand picked senior students available to provide guidance and answers to questions, isn't as available in his other classes and events.

As I told a woman at the SFQ International Guild meeting this weekend, you just don't get this amount of time with Master Lin period. Even his 5-day level IV retreat each year at Superior Shores is more like four. That retreat was lengthened just a year ago from 2 days and an evening to 4 days and an evening, not because he had more information to teach, but because at that level there needs to be more time with him in mediation.

We put the prerequisite of having gone through Level II, but the level at which one experiences during this retreat is entirely personal. The retreat is set up to provide training and guidance for those in level II, III,IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X....

May you feel love in your heart,
speak love from your lips,
see love through your eyes,
and let love permeate the thoughts
and dreams of your mind.
