Great story. What a great gift. Should you have hard times during your work in SFQ, remember this time when you were a beginner. And remember that without knowledge of technique or lengthy experience in SFQ, that you were the conduit of the love and helped it to do it's work.

You took what knowledge you have, which will never be complete, and came from a place of love and did what you could to help. You saw how wonderful a result can be had from the simplicity of SFQ. Remember the most powerful things are often the simplest. Caring.

My opinion is that the degree of your success has to do with the degree of your caring, not so much your technique. Trust that the guidance for technique that you recieve is the right technique for your situation. I firmly believe that is what happened in your case. By caring you opened yourself to guidance, even if you don't recognize it as such. The guidance you recieved was appropriate for you to help this boy with this problem, at that time.

I won't presume that I could possible give better guidance than you received.

You are perfection.
