Being an overweight grannie and brand new to SFQ, I am having difficulty maintaining my balance while lifting my knee. Does anyone have any suggestions? Other than this, I am throughly enjoying SFQ. Thanks

When I attended the Level 1 class, we did this exercise while sitting in a chair. That was 2 years ago. I usually do it that way, even now. If you want to work on balance, that's fine, but it is not necessary to do it standing up.

For all of the exercises, Master Lin says you can do them standing, sitting, or lying down.

Good luck with your experiences in Spring Forest Qigong!

Thanks, Anita. That is helpful. I will sit for now but will definitely work on balance.

This young pup still has challenges with that one ... just started up practice again in anticipation of the Retreat ... I do recall, balance does improve with time as does everything else.

Yes, Michael, being somewhat "senior" I can certainly attest to that.
