This reminds me of the time at one of the LSC seminars when Paul guided us into the emptiness.
It literally is emptiness. Completely black, no color, no sound however one is consciously aware of oneself and surroundings. Best as I can describe it.
When Paul guided us out, I told him, hey, it didn't work Paul, I dont get it ... everything was blank but I could hear you and be aware of the surroundings ... he said, that was the point and that I had indeed gotten it.
