In September, 2005 when I had my annual eye exam,I was told that I now have cataracts. I started practicing SFQ on April 11, 2005 and practice some form of SFQ almost every day, with Small Universe being practiced more often than the Active Exercises. Now, five months later, I went for my eye exam last Saturday. The doctor told me "your eyes are very healthy." I asked him about the cataracts, and he just shrugged it off by saying, "there is a slight haze but not in your field of vision, and said "that comes with age." I'm 58 years old and I can't help but feel that SFQ made the difference, as cataracts just don't disappear without surgery. Gratefully, RoSpinner

Thank you very much RoSpinner. I appreciate you sharing your experience.

I hope to hear from you in the future about the haze being gone. I'm one who has flags shoot up all over the place when I hear a phrase like "that comes with age", or "it happens as you get older", or "you're getting older". Getting older is something I can't help. However accepting all of these beliefs about the negative health issues I supposed to gain at the same time, is something I do challenge. I'm working at putting my thoughts into positive beliefs and observing them manifest instead of investing in negative beliefs.

You story is another tick mark on the side of "it doesn't have to happen like that".

Thank you. You are perfection.

Iam2: Thank you for your interest and reply. I actually made a mistake in the date: It was LAST YEAR Sept. 2004 that I was diagnosed with cataracts (you probably figured that out), and now, one year later, after five months of SFQ that I got the good report. I like your reply and I fully agree with your outlook. Last year, the doctor was very definite about telling me I have cataracts. This year, I had to remind him of what he said a year ago, and he now floundered for an explanation. I will be happy to keep you posted! RoSpinner

I was just told last week that I have a level 2 cataract in my eye. Do you do sword finger on the eye or is it enough to just do the exercises for a general improvement in vision?

Hi, Claire: I didn't sword finger my eyes, although that may be a good idea. I just did active exercises and Small Universe meditations. RoSpinner

Hi Rospinner,
Glad to hear that your cateracts are disappearing.
I think Master Lin suggests imagining a rod of light, I think he says red - like a laser beam entering the eye and eliminating the problem. You could probably do this from the sword fingers. The main thing is to know that what you are doing is working and to ask for help from the Masters energy.
Good Luck

Thank you, Faune, for your interest in my post, and for the information from Master Lin about imagining red laser light with sword fingers. RoSpinner
