I had been told by Master Lin a while back that I have blockages in my back and chest, and low kidney energy. I meditate for 2 hours a day, sometimes more.

I have had pain in the middle of my back for a while which I attributed to the blockage. This pain has rather suddenly gone away and so I am thinking that this blocakge has cleared.

At almost the same time I have started experiencing an increase in anxiety and maybe depression. I have been working very hard on being more content with my life and my job in particlular. It seems like I have suddenly taken a step backward. Does it make sense that now that my back has cleared I am working on my chest and that is incresing these symptoms? I seem to remember that the chest is the center for anxiety, depression, etc.

I would appreciate any feedback or advice.

Thanks,
RodB

I would say you are experiencing growth but maybe it has come to fast and is uncomfortable for you.

When you have unbalanced energy the heart seems to suffer the most from it.

The old Daoists and Buddhists also used herbs to stabilze such conditions called "Shen Stabilizing" and you could find references to such things at www.dragonherbs.com

I also use to meditate many hours a day and found that my kidneys went weak because of it. Meditation should be balanced with active exercises.

Hope that helps.

Jeff

Allow me assist you with this:

I had been told by Master Lin a while back that I had blockages in my back and chest, and had low kidney energy.

Remember that when Master Lin scans you, its for that moment -don't carry around any talk of blockages, as they can be addressed in your next meditation.

Instead of asking the "why" questions when something comes up, consider going into into the emptiness and "back to the manufacturer" to get reset. The healing happens in the emptiness and through he heart, not our heads and thinking things out.

Much Love, Shawn
