I have only done level 1 & 2 (got the materials a few months ago). I just came back from the 6-day SFQ retreat last night. And certainly we have done a lot of things that go beyond level 1 & 2 and maybe the other levels too as Master Lin revealed some very interesting and somewhat unbelievable (for a lot of people) info too.
When I first started detecting blockages for people in the retreat, I stood in front of them and scanned with one hand, ran the small universe from on foot away, etc.
Then I realized that I was doing the same about 3 feet away from the person. Then Thursday evening a couple of us were practicing scanning with some of the LSC staff standing 10 feet away.
Your mind and your thoughts make all the difference. If you can scan 10 feet away, you can also scan 20, 30, 40 feet away or people in the next room, next house, next city, next state, country, across the globe. Now will you be able to do that? That is what depends on your practice and confidence level. While waiting at the airport, I was also scanning people who were sitting in the waiting area without my hand pointing toward them - I still got the sensation about their blockages.
You are dealing with information at the speed of thought - physical location is irrelevant. When you post in this forum set up by LSC in MN, USA from any part of the world and the physical computer servers located at some other state or country, you are doing the same thing. When you go to Google to search for something from another part of the globe, you are doing the same thing. Think of the whole world as a massive computer network. Whether you are able to find the information depends on how accurate your search is. As you use the Internet more, you get better at finding things every day.
Now think about the whole universe as a massive wireless Inernet network. Can you scan someone in a space station away from earth?
