I have been practicing SFQ for 6 months. I have developed sensitivities to certain things, as I was told I might. I havn't had any alcahol or cafeene for over 3 months. I wasn;t really trying to quit, it just happened.

My qustion concerns things of a ore emotional or maybe spiritual nature. I have always had trouble with fear/worry. This was one of the reasons I started. While my good days way outnumber my bad now, it seesm that I am more sensitive to certain behaviors, like collecting stress.

Does it make sense that this is another transition? Has anyone else had similar experinces?

I don't think my experiences are similar, but then again they might be.

After the retreat at LSC, in 2003, I adopted a new attitude towards emotions. During the retreat, I discover that I should follow SFQ. I have found the ideas about emotions and SFQ to be very much in harmony.

These ideas have let me deal with many issues in a much more positive and less stressful manner. In fact, if I notice fear, anger or worry I see the promise of undiscovered treasure (energy) behind those emotions. Except for those situations concerning physical safety; I still heed those.

Dispite this insight I still have times I do not follow the right path. There are some with whom I still (or at least occaissionaly) follow the wrong path. It may be that my feelings are stronger, but I don't think so. I think that I am just much more aware of my emotional state. Keeping my eye out for the road signs, so to speak.

Is your experience a transition? Or are you becoming more aware of the energy in your life? Isn't increased awareness a transition from one state to another?

Master Lin once answered one of my questions about an energetic experience. His response was it is energy moving. You do not know what it is.

The idea I took from this was that I should not put my imperfect labels on things. I should notice them, and trust in the universal energy and continue along my journey.

I don't know if my ramblings help, but there they are to take root or to wait from a wind or water.

You are perfection.
