I'm wondering why most of these programs are not available in CD format? I am interested in purchasing some, but I have not owned a cassette player for almost ten years. Seems like a no-brainer to me, but maybe there's a good reason?

It's the way in which they're listened to. A cheep personal tape player costs $5, plus batteries. The best times to listen seem to be before getting up, before going to bed, and on one's lunch hour. Market research showed most people weren't interested in having them on CD.

For me the volume output from a personal cassette player is better than with a CD player. There is also the cost difference between a cassette player and a personal CD player. I've drop tested my cassette player many times whereas my 5 times more costly CD player didn't survive the first fall. One drop and the laser is jolted out of place.

A tecno tip... for a longer life of your CD player avoid external build up of dust keep the outer housing as dust free as possible wipe your cd's free of dust before inserting into your player. (Never wipe CDs in with a circular motion... but you already knew that). And the Biggest no no... never touch the laser nor use a so called laser cleaning disk. They tend to knock the laser out of alignment. The idea is to keep the equipement as dust free as possible in the first place.

Learning Strategies has been around for over 20 years and all the programs were first produced on cassettes. All of our new programs have been produced on CD format as well as tapes. Kaiden is right, as far as the Paraliminals, more people are satisfied with the tapes. And you can get an inexpensive tape player anywhere. But don't worry, all of the programs will eventually be available on CD. The courses currently available on CD - Spring Forest Qigong Level Two, soon Level One will be, Natural Brilliance, Memory Optimizer, PhotoReading, Boundless Renewal, Genius Code...we are working on CDs for the vocabulary course, EasyLearn language, Euphoria! and eventually all personal learning courses will be available on CD.

I already purchased the Photoreading course without CDs. I have since realized how much easier it would be for me if I did have CDs. Is there any way I could just buy the CDs?

Yes, I know the term friendly sounds a little corny but the knock your socks off with great service surprised me more than once. Very few companies ship their orders the next day and very few will sort out a glitch as fast as they did.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Sandy, do you have a timeline for the CD releases you mentioned?

And can you buy only CDs? I saw some progams where the CDs came with cassettes also, not just the CDs, unless I misunderstood.
