Aloha dickens,

quote:
Some friends would like to get together to practice on each other in a group. The thing is 2 of us do SFQ, 1 does Reiki and 1 does Healing Touch.

Does it matter if 2 or 3 people are working on a person using different healing modalities at the same time?

Only if one is using a pendulum.

But seriously, Chunyi talks about this in regards to confusing the energy when each person is off doing their own thing.

Hmmm...just read you were going to do it this/last weekend...sorry, I was in an NLP/Hypnosis training Fri-Monday here at Learning Strategies, and am just starting to browse the posts.

Here's a possibility I'll throw out for your next "Healing Party." Clear the person's kidneys and related spinal area and then have the "Reiki" person send energy to the person's kidneys until you're done with the healing (or until they are full), and when you're finished, have them stop, and you wrap up with the ending you learned in Level II.

Ideally you could teach them sword fingers and have them send energy that way to the kidneys during the healing. It's a teachable moment regarding the type of energy which flows from that posture. S/he may only be used to a hands-on approach, so it can give them a new experience.

Before the "my book says" police reply to this post, lets look at what we're doing here.

Your Reiki practitioner (RP) friend is used to flowing energy-great, have them send healing energy to the area you've cleared and won't be going to again. Most of the time the kidneys can use a good charge. Once again, have them use sword fingers to facilitate an easier absorption of the energy.

The RP friend is just sending energy to the body's battery pack, and you are clearing and giving energy to the rest of the body-you're not both wrestling over the same area, and the energy isn't confused.

If your RP friend has an attachment to doing attunements and more than just sending healing energy to the kidneys...well, send them to pick up the sushi!

Just kidding.

Here is a possible rotation for the three of you...

Round One:
Have the RP friend do Reiki work on your SFQ friend while you send energy to the RP's kidneys.

Round Two:
You and your SFQ friend work on your RP friend, with one doing the detecting and healing around the body and the other in charge of clearing and sending energy to the kidneys. The one doing the main healing, will then do the ending.

Round Three:
Your SFQ friend can either do your roll from round one, or your SFQ friend and RP friend can do what I described earlier, with the RP sending energy to the kidneys

It keep everyone busy and doesn't have two different modalities working the body over at the same time. Your RP friend gets a chance to do their thing and you and your buddy get a chance to do yours.

Much Love and lets not have people thinking I’m advocating two different modalities working on one person at the same time. If you’re thinking that, take three deep breaths, a warm bath and let it go.
