I don't exactly see the light, I just visualize and in my mind I do see the kidneys, base of head (and other sections) light up. Qigong is information & message healing, so my transfer of energy from one part to another is instantaneous. Although, in my heart I know that it traveled through the spinal cord, which also helps the spine. It's like turning on a switch in your living room and the bulbs light up exactly at that time (I should say in our normal perception of time).
