Dear Forum Members, I have been practicing spring forest qigong level I and 2 for about one year. I find that after doing active exercises when I am doing sitting meditations that my head and neck begin to jerk rapidly back and forth and my left hand begins to shake for several seconds. It stops and begins again repeatedly as I do this meditation. I have been wondering if others have had this experience because I am trying to understand whether this is chi being released or if I am having seizures. I am fully conscious during this experience and do not have a history of seizures( though my brother did have seizures as a child) However, I have become concerned enough about this activity to have it interfere with the peacefulness of my practice. When I read about some of the unusual body experiences that Master Lin experienced and wrote about in his book I felt reassured that maybe this is the movement of chi. I have meditated for years and feel so many benefits that I am reluctant to give it up and equally reluctant to have this checked out medically . I would be grateful if anyone can shed any light on this experience. Thank-you
