Hello, everyone! I haven't posted anything in a few months. I've been practicing SFQ since April of '05, and I must say that getting into the "emptiness, quietness and stillness of the universe" has enabled me to hear what my Master (God) has to say to me. Even when not in the middle of my SFQ, throughout my day I ask Him questions, and wait for his response. I wanted to tell you a very sweet, true story of what happened recently: As a 9-year breast cancer survivor, each spring I participate in the Revlon Run/Walk for the Cure of Women's Cancers which takes place in New York City. My sister-in-law was supposed to join me in the Run/Walk, but she called me the night before apologizing that her knee was bothering her too much to go. So, in that event, I had to go alone (which no one likes to do). On my way to the train station, I realized that I forgot my Bib No. which I'm supposed to wear. So I headed back home to get it. When I almost reached my house, I told myself "I don't have time to go home, I'll miss my train" so I headed back to the station (kind of half-hearted, not wanting to go alone). When I got to the station and was parking my car, I realized that the train was pulling in, and I'll never make it. So I just stood outside my car and said "Oh, well, God, I guess you don't want me to go today." Just then, believe it or not, the conductor peeked out of the window and said "Lady, are you getting on this train or not?" I couldn't believe this. No train driver waits for anyone! So I took this as a message from my Master: "Yes, I want you to go..even if you're alone." I ran up the platform steps and the conductor said, "Take your time, don't rush" (unbelievable!). THEN....when I got to NYC to attend the Walk/Run, I was feeling sorry for myself being alone, and asked my Master to bring a smile to my face. Within a few minutes, a lady walking behind me (there were 40,000 of us) tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Are you alone" I said, "yes" and she wrapped a very long, hot pink feather boah around my neck to wear as the "honorary member" of the Run/Walk. I chuckled and continued the walk in my (very noticeable) hot pink feathers! My Master took the frown away, and made me chuckle. Just then, I noticed that the feathers were getting itchy...but I didn't dare remove them, as not to hurt the lady. Again, I asked my Master to remove the itch, and within about a minute, the itch was gone! Sorry for this lengthy e-mail, but my main message is: "When you get use to getting into the stillness and quietness of the universe, Your Master will guide you throughout your day." God Bless You All!
