Here is a post that may cause some controversy or else everyone will think I am crazy and ignore it. There are stories in many cultures of people affecting the weather (American Indian rain dances, Jesus calming the seas during a storm, Wizards creating fog to diguise troops before battle in Scandinavia and Korea). Is it possible?
First some background. I have been mediating and a student of the Higher Balance material for 1.5 years. Before this time I had no trainging, experience or knowledge of any spiritual or new age groups. I recently got the CD course called "Mind Storm". For a description, see:
Higher Balance modules Here is a (slightly edited) copy of an email I sent to my spiritual coach (Note: cloud bursing is causing clouds to disapper. Eric recomends starting with small clouds that are near to other larger clouds.):
C.,
I've had Mind Storm for a little while but I hadn't tried it yet until this weekend. I think I was a little afraid that it wouldn't work although when I first got the CDs I had a inner voice telling me that I would be able to do this.
This weekend, my wife and I traveled to her parent's house. I spent two days helping my father-in-law build barb wire fence. It was hard work a little cold. One day after working for a few hours, I layed down in grass away from everyone else. Two of my dog's layed down on either side of me and my third dog layed down by my head. It was warm, laying on the sun-warmed ground, out of the wind. It was mostly sunny, with a few puffy white clouds overhead. I was zoning out for a while and then I realized it would be a perfect time to try cloud bursting (I hadn't been able to meditate for 2 days).
I picked one cloud after another (six in all) and they just disappeared very quickly (in 15 to 60 seconds each time). I did this both with my eyes open and with my eyes closed. It all seemed very easy and a little anti-climatic. I had expected to be very excited when I first got this to work, but I wasn't. I just wanted to write it in my journal down so I wouldn't forget.
