Hello everybody

I am studying at a university now and I find it immensely boring to study. I have big problems about doing my home work on time. Most of the times my home work is turned in at last moment or after the deadline. My classmates have already got their paper graded but I am not even half through my paper.

Since Paul Scheele is interested in learning/education, will he do a Paraliminal CD that is intended for those who have no motivation for studying?

If not, which one of those currently available, should I be using to get motivation for studying? New Behavior Generator?

Many thanks
Patrick

Personal Genius is the studying Paraliminal. Add to that the two new Paraliminals Break the Habit (procrastination is a habit many want to break). Peak Performance is also ideal It helps you focus on the success you want.

Whether or not you use paraliminals, if you continue to turn in things late you'll eventually learn the consequence of your actions, which is failure.

Do you have any reason for being at University? Do you have any goals for being there? Or are you just doing what you think is expected of you?

The natural response to doing something you have no reason to do is to avoid doing it. It's meaningless and painful, so why bother?

I think the difference between mature and inexperienced students is that the mature student is there for a self-defined reason and the inexperienced one is there for whatever... usually someone else's reasons, just doing what he or she thinks is appropriate for that time in their lives.

I was like that during my first degree. I went with the flow, but I had a little more discipline. I wanted to do well for my own purposes, even though the major reason I was attending was because I felt I was supposed to.

Get clear on your reasons for being there. Maybe you don't want to be at a University? Maybe it isn't the right thing for you at this time in your life?

I think that the University offers a whole lot, and you might as well take advantage of it. I'd advise figuring out what you're most interested in and pursuing that. I am assuming you're a relatively young person, and this is the time to really put your nose to the grindstone and study, build up your intellectual strength, your knowledge-base. Learn to learn on your own, too.

You'll be needing it later on. Believe it.

Time spent at a University is as much about self-discovery as anything else, so do some introspection, try out a few new classes, and really put forth your best effort, even if it doesn't interest you all that much. Find some way to make achieving worthwhile to you, make it personal.
