Dear ThoMag,
I'm afraid that as far as I can see the links you seem to be getting your information from are either poorly referenced, uncredited or the information is completely decontextualised. There also seems to be a healthy range of subjective, opionated scare-mongering on a couple of the sites, with very negative opinions (unsubstantiated) being cast in the direction of a melting pot of Eastern-isms (e.g. lumping Zen/Kundalini/Tibetan Buddhism/Chinese Medicine etc. all together in an ill-defined, inconsistent and clearly ill-informed way).
I also detect from the links you have sent, a circular frame of reference leading back to "Martinus Cosmology" whatever that is. It appears to be the only positively presented ideology, but seems itself to lack credentials other than some sporadic references to the Bible and otherwise what appears to be a hodge podge of New Age-isms. To be frank, on the link to Deepak Chopra's letter he seems to be the only one on the page who makes any degree of sense. Not very impressive I'm afraid. At the end of the day it is the type of fear that is generated by extreme religious viewpoints and the type of scare-mongering (demons/devils/goblins/the monster under the bed etc.) that goes along with it, which can do much more harm to a person's state of mind and body than any amount of poorly executed breathing or Yoga exercises.
And by the way, not everyone on the planet is a Christian either - and that's ok too. You'll find that people who do end up conforming to a particular religion do so based on how well indoctrinated they have been either in childhood or even later on in life - and it all depends on where they happen to have been born or now live. (I'm sure if you were born in India, you could well have ended up Hindu). Just keep that in mind. Diversity is good. Fear divides and conquers - try not to feed it.
best wishes
Ingrid
