Hi, everyone,

One of my beloved kitties, Hope, is once again having urinary problems. This is about the fourth time around with this. She's had extensive tests, and it appears to be Feline Urologic Syndrome - somewhat rare for a female. Symptoms are similar to those of a bladder infection - frequent urination (often just drops at a time) and some bleeding. She's gone for up to 4 months without a problem but it's obviously not completely healed yet.

I have been trying to treat her, but she won't sit still for me. She just tends to get up and walk away.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to work with her? I've been trying to use a stuffed animal as a surrogate - is that effective?

Also, is it acceptable to put her on the Saturday healing list?

I work on animals a lot and some will get up and walk away for a little while until they realize that they are getting good energy then they come back. Some I work on when they are asleep and just put my focus on the blockage and I can visibly see them relax. Then again some get a walking healing, they walk and I walk with them. My old dog used to just lie on my arm to get his energy boost.

Recently I worked on a pom that had an urinary tract infection. Normally, she is a very hyper dog but she came right over to me and sat down in front of me quietly for 10 minutes while I worked on her. I worked on a cat that was so uncomfortable that she wouldn't let anyone near her without walking away with injuries. I worked on her from across the room. Now she is cuddly with her owners. Some animals understand it quicker than others.

Some blockages clear immediately and some take several sessions. Work on her just a little everyday and you will see results. The more comfortable she gets the easier it will get for you.

Thanks, Spirit7, that's helpful. When you worked on the cat across the room, could you actually feel anything?

I do feel the blockages, both physically and mentally. It really is how well you can focus when doing a healing. Good luck with your cat.
