Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Spring Forest Qigong Bright Light

I've been practicing SFQ for just over a year now and have several observations on which feed back would be helpful to me.

I've stayed with level 1 though I've taken the level 2 class because of some mid back pain that comes & goes. I practice daily for at least 1 hr(Active & Sitting) & am happy with the results. I ocassionally do 2 hours of Active and have noticed "a pulse in the soles of my feet" and now when I start small universe I sometime see a flash of Bright Whiite light. Is there any cause for concern on my part. Bright light is a major question???

I've been practicing for about six months now. I can't comment on the bright light, because I haven't experienced that. But I frequently get the pulsing in the soles of my feet. I often sit while doing The Joining of Yin and Yang, as my feet are really tingly by then and it feels good to sit for 5 minutes.

Tell us more detail about the bright light. When do you see it, how big is it, eyes open or closed, etc?

CityShy, I once asked Master Lin about one of my energetic experiences. He said that it was my energy moving. That the universe knew what had to be done, and that it wasn't something I sound expect to understand.

He often mentions a series of things that a person may experience when doing SFQ. It's not a check-list, just some of the more common experiences of qi moving, as one's channels are opening.

I've had bright light experiences, but not at the beginning as you've described.

Personally, I would not be concerned. In fact, I would be please to have such demonstrative signs of my qi moving.
