i think the 3-2-1 method is just to help u to maintain relaxed and focused. so as long as u r remained calm and relaxed, there is no need to repeat it.

as for syntopic, just state the main purpose, then photoread the books that are listed in ur bibliography.

Example:
i have some books on study: "how to study"
"everything study book"
"manage your life in college" etc..
i have sufficient study technique already with photoreading whole mind system, so i can just cut out the "how to read technical books" and stuffs and decide to learn more how to manage my life while having to cope wif homework, sports and so on. so i stated my purpose as: "i am going to learn about how to manage my time so i can use my time more effectively and efficiently." then just photoread those books. don't need to restate purpose everytime u photoread each book.
it is fun when i come to different authors who have their own viewpoint on time management. so create a big mindmap on the differing viewpoints and similar viewpoints. the mindmap will give me a clear picture about the information. i then compare the advantages and the disadvantages of some of the viewpoints and try to apply those i think are useful.

actually i find it very efficient using syntopic reading which makes my reading more enjoyable. it is like debating with the authors on their points.

Alex, any comment to fine tune my syntopic skill? i do hope kunagi does find this info useful.

thanks
