Ok first the 3-2-1 entering the accelerated learning state.

Think of a runner getting ready to race. Prepare the runner removes excess garments surveys the track. Gets into an ideal mental state (focus - tangerine technique).

Preview - A little bit of a warm up... not to much you don't want to exhaust yourself for the race.

Enter the Accelerated Learning State 3 Physically prepare - position yourself on the starters block, 2- Mentally prepare - be here now you're about to start running. 1- the jump - you remember your purpose and affirm your intent (to win the race probably - to find the answers when reading)

PhotoRead - Run

If we were to measure the brainwaves of the runner we would see that they are different in the 3-2-1 stage and the actual run. The same is true of the PhotoReader. The brainwaves are different when entering the Accelerated Learning State and PhotoReading state.

The purpose is similar to that of the runner. To get ready for the best possible run. We also know from runners if they hang around the starters block too long and work too hard at getting that right the run suffers. The same is true for PhotoReading. Don't take too long getting into the Accelerated Learning State and don't try to stay there when you are PhotoReading.

Syntopic reading.

Syntopic reading is reading 4 to 5 books on one topic. Usually for research. It's an excellent approach to help you write research papers.

Draw up the syntopic mind map with your single purpose in the middle. The bigger the paper the better.

Write your purpose in the middle and then select 4 to 5 books that will relate to your purpose. I'm not going to repeat the rest of the Syntopic reading chapter here... it gives a step 1, 2, 3,... approach already.

The only thing I will add is that you build it up over a number of hours over a few days. It's not normally completed in one day. So hang it on the wall and when you do 10-20 minutes of activation on one of the books look at your purpose decide and activate.

ennar,

I would have used Direct Learning. Chosen how to books and just stated my purpose PhotoRead the lot in one sitting and imaged myself in the future using my study time more effectively. No need to activate the book let the brain do it;)
