I think direct learning could work for time management. Maybe you have to imagine yourself having a more flexible and organized schedule or something when you're in the future.
In using direct learning for something like summer reading for school, do people just imagine themselves in the near future or past answering the test questions or writing a more fluid essay? Or... is there a more optimal way to activate summer reading material if all the teacher tells you is to read it over and over without giving questions to answer?
And.. I have another question. Does going through the 'Photoread' step again with a different purpose help comprehension?
I really want to stick with Photoreading this time since it seems different. If it helps, I'll give the link to the summer reading list and the 'recommended way' to read.
http://www.ccisd.net/teaching/library/summer_lists/10.pdfI'm still not sure about how direct learning really works yet - is it just insight or does the person have to feel an idea of what will come to pass? Oh, and I'm really sorry for stealing the topic, it's just that some people think I'm crazy for saying that I finished the summer reading in one day and say that I'll fail the tests...
