Wow, I have no idea what magenta is, or fuschia, or saffron yellow, or citrine green, or iris blue, cobalt blue... I mean I've heard of them, but what is the color, really? And what if I make a mistake! Yipes! Something goes wrong because I activated fuschia instead of magenta! I can just see Shawn and Ms. Diamond frowning and shaking their heads and saying tsk tsk tsk!
Someone suggested I look at a box of crayons to learn colors, or go grab some samples, the ones they always have in paint stores. Meanwhile, I looked on the web but it is such a basic, basic thing! I guess I should have learnt that in Kindergarten, huh.
So... a color palette... that doesn't depend on my comuter's video resolution. What did folks do before computers? Folks in the arts or design or marketing or publishing world TALK in colors. Can anyone direct me? I want to "talk" in colors too! The famous RGB colors that I used to request when creating a postscript file. I know the information is out there somewhre, I just don't remember where!
