I would say that those making the difference are the people causing the problem. I have heard it said that Negative energy is forceful and positive while stronger, is more passive. When looking back through history all advances and corrections to the lunacy of the times was a very slow and long process, not because the good guys weren't doing enough, but because the bad guys were willing to do anything to get what they want. The middle men, the sheep, those asleep, either don't know there is a battle going on or don't care to be bothered by it.
Are you suggesting that those actively contributing to the problem are somehow fixing it simply because they are doing something? We do have this attitude in America, look at everytime a tragedy happens, everyone is of the opinion that "something must be done". No one seems to be able to accept that "[deleted] happens, deal with it" and move on. Look at the hysteria that followed 9/11 and the willingness to throw away the Constitution and remaining fragments of rights we still have. Are you aware the Patriot Act was unanimously passed and yet not one person even looked at what it said?
Very often it is true that many speak loudly to others to convince themselves of what they don't believe to be true.....hmm, now I am sure I have seen someone here who writes lengthy posts in favor of the status quo... if I could just remember who.
