Isn't it a little naive to indulge in fantasies of utopia?
War, disease, and poverty are all part of the human condition. But it goes deeper than that, it is the condition of life itself.
We live in a world not of marshmallowy infinitely abundant creamy goodness. This is not because people do not believe as you do or that they indulge in negative vibrations or bad thoughts. It's simply a reality that we live in a world that has limited resources. We are each creatures who use our power to struggle against others so that we can get what we want. Look at the nature of life itself, life persists by feeding on life.
This is the way things are. It's been this way since the first organic being came into existence, and it'll be that way until the last trace of organic life is wiped out, probably by way of some cosmic event without meaning or purpose... other than the laws of physics at work.
Your own body is a conglomeration of struggles. It's an incredibly violent environment. Every moment of your life, organisms are being ruthlessly killed inside of you so that you may live. Should those murdered organisms go unchecked, they would certainly joyfully multiply and multiply, feeding upon you until your life functions failed... killing both you and the colonies of micro-organisms that had bred and fed inside of you.
This sort of thing isn't the exception, it's the rule.
Looking at things, however, by and large, the world is much better off than its ever been.
What amounts to hurt feelings in here used to amount to a corpse or two way back when duels to the death were fought over disagreements like this. Modern medical science can cure more ills than it ever could. We no longer have to worry about dying just because we get a simple infection.
We are on a movement upward. So long as human knowledge gets passed on to coming generations, I think we are going to be just fine. Our societies my struggle and have to adapt to a world that is changing more and more as time goes on, but I believe our species will learn to manage change. We don't have to throw out the baby with the bathwater. A lot of things look bleak now, but our species has been through a lot, and we still have tricks up our collective sleeves.
There will, however, always be war, disease, and poverty, I think. There will always be power struggles. It's in our genes.
But, you know, I think it would be a good thing for tons of people to take on these beliefs and techniques that you propose. Because then you'd see that it would still be just business as usual. Might be disillusioning, but then you'd learn that you really didn't have to worry about it.
