Yep it's more mind probing. The purpose is why you want to know this. You've covered what you want to know but not the ... so that I can use it in my life point of view If you planned to know how to prevent attacks from outsiders so I can use this information to protect myself when I get sent into a war zone... then you have an excellent purpose (can you see how it would motivate you to understand the information?)

It's not so much an importance of getting the statement right it's more knowing how you plan to use the information in the near future. The more it means to you the easier it is to know that you're getting the information that you are after.
