Aloha Ibrahima ,

Breathing in a a relaxed, slow, deep manner works well when you're just learning the exercises and meditation. After becoming comfortable with them, it tends to be easier to integrate the reverese breathing he shows in the DVD.

Salut, Shawn,

Thanks for your reply. I guess I had to be more specific. I also practice yoga and wanted to know in both arts the Deep breathing system are the same?

In yoga when you inhale you fill in your abdomen with air, slowly and gently push it out...and when you exhale you contract the abdomen musles in..

Any one see what I mean?

Thanks

Hi Ibrahima,

SFQ reverse breathing is the opposite of what you describe.
When breathing in slightly draw the tummy in and when breathing out let the tummy out. This allows the new and old air/energy to mix.

Does this answer your question?

Hello all,

Thank you soooo much Shawn, Faune, Iam2 and all the others who are too.
Now I understand why I felt so ill at ease after my session. I did not want to do anything, did not want to go to work. Was feeling very tired.
I don't know why I had to do it that way. That just made me want to quit. I knew something was wrong.
Back to reverse breathing...

Once again thanks a lot,

Ibrahima
