Hi Gallen

I'm delighted that you're still lurking around! Thank you for a really useful reply and in some respects your bottom line says it all - i must just get on with the business of clearing Jack and putting my trust in the process. The strange thing is that I replied to another post the same day as this and gave some 'advice' to let go of seeing something as a problem, not realising that it was the very advice that I needed. Your thoughts about staying away from academic mode are well placed. I suppose what happens is that I get really distressed when he suffers - he hasn't been sleeping well with the itching and it messes up the daytime for him too. He's 17, doing well in his studies and he has dreams of what he wants to do, as we all do at that age. I love him and I love his dreams. So I move to academic/analytical mode and try to 'fix it'. And yes I need to be calm and centred when I work with him - I'm doing quite well in this reagard but sometimes...

When I first started removing blockages it was a mysterious business but now I have more experience I'm able to notice sensations connected with the process and use them. And I've had some marvellous moments where I really felt I made a difference. With some people they give me feedback about what's happening and this helps me find my way more. Jack has no sensations that he is aware of when I do healing work with him, unlike my daughter or wife, so I am more on my own in that regard. I really like the idea of doing distant healing with him for several reasons. Firstly I've felt a need to work at that side of healing, but also it allows me not to be so affected by my distress if I can see him scratching. Also I do need to get myself into a regular habit of detecting blockages and this is my opportunity. You say "If there is a physical blockage, you will detect it" and your confidence in this gives me confidence. I just have to trust and that seems much more straightforward now. I can see that I'm going to be sharing what happens and asking some more questions as I learn more about the process,so prepare yourself!

Many thanks and much love
