Hi Gallen
I’ve just worked on Jack from a distance. I thought it best to ask his permission over the airwaves first! He seemed keen enough! In a good better best sense is it better if he is in a relaxed state the ‘other end’ when you do this?
The detection of blockages is interesting! Once I’d ‘given myself permission’ to successfully look for blockages I noticed a number of things. For me it seems that at the moment information comes in via temperature differences and sometimes a little tingling. I also get some thoughts arriving that seem helpful. I notice that if I’m not sure what I’m feeling it helps to move my hand away into a neutral zone for a while and come back and then I can feel more clearly.
Chunyi doesn’t give detailed instructions about the places to visit for blockages and I don’t always know where organs are but my guess is that this doesn’t matter. Also I rotate my internal image of Jack to suit my detecting, eg I get his head down low when I’m detecting blockages at the top of his head. I assume that finding a blockage on his right shoulder, as I did, doesn’t necessarily need to relate to any organs or ‘known points’ – you find a message about a blockage and later clear it. I found a blockage in his spleen but Chunyi doesn’t mention this ever. At times I found blockages on one side and not the other and in my clearing I did what Chunyi suggested and cleared the good side as a reference for the other side to heal. There were places where I ‘expected’ blockages and didn’t find any and others where I found them when I didn’t expect them. Also when I came to clear a blockage I’d detected it seemed to me that there wasn’t anything much to clear. Perhaps the initial small universe work clears some of the smaller ones anyway?
It’s a bit strange clearing blockages when the person is not actually there and sometimes my concentration lapsed in a way that it doesn’t if I’m looking a the real person, although actually I quite often close my eyes then too. I tend to see dissolving blockages as swirly white smoke against a black background and when the area is completely black the blockage has gone – my hand feels lighter at about the same time although sometimes there are time lags. Does any one else find that sometimes blockages seem to take a long time to clear (Chunyi mentions that 2 minutes should do it but my subjective sense is that I sometimes take longer than that. On occasions the blockage feels ‘heavy’ or ‘sticky for a long time and then disappears very suddenly.) Also does anyone else find that their arms get tired during the process?
It’s interesting to compare the bits of this process that I’m familiar with, like clearing blockages, and those where I’m not. Clearing blockages has mysteries still but is quite a familiar and comfortable process. I need to remind myself that detecting blockages will also acquire this familiarity.
Any comments welcome.
Thanks again for helping me set out on this path.
Love
