While doing Moving of Yin & Yang I have been visualizing energy balls that are similar to the ones shown on the video when the two main energy channels are being illustrated.

I am moving the balls at the same speed and in the same position, or you could say in tandem with my hands. In other words the balls are moving as shown on the video as described above, up the back of the column and down the front.

Is this correct or should I move the energy some other way?

I think what you are doing is just fine. It is how I used to do it.

Now, I tend to just see the energy moving up and down. Superimposing as the hands cross over each other. I made this change when I changed the emphasis on feeling the energy (primarily in my hands) as I lead with my elbows. For me the change became a feeling exercise instead of an energy leading exercise.

I'm not saying my current way is better, just sharing how it has changed after revisiting the Master's guidance. It is probably a movement for better, for me. Being something different I need to experience in the practice.

I know you are not telling me that the way you did it is the "right" way to do it, but I tried it and all I can say is wow.

I have been doing Qigong for a little over a month now and I am still feeling goose bumps when doing the movements. It sort of feels like excess energy or tension blowing off the body.

I thought I read on this forum that these sensations would decrease as the energy channels become more balanced. Has this been your experience?

Thanks

DeltaFreq, my experience is right out of the course material. I have light sensations, then as I continue more and more along the teachings they get stronger and stronger. Then they seem to just disappear. Maybe not all of them, but those nice powerful sign-post you get used to telling you that you're doing things properly are gone.

Then I have to remember Master Lin's words that this a great time for building my qi level. I then have to develop my faith in his guidance and the guidance and support of the universe, and keep doing the exercises and releasing my need to have the sign-posts. Then eventually the feelings return.

I don't think of sensation of the energy as being a result of the degree of balance. I see the channels as an analogy of physical tubes. When the tubes are full, and you pay attention you can feel the pressure in them. As you practice SFQ you exercise your channels and their capacity increases and their is less pressure to notice. Then as you practice SFQ you add more water (qi) to the tubes and then the pressure is more noticeable again.

As a note, I'm not saying the channels are tubes. I just like the analogy for understanding the trend in feeling the energy.

However, the visualizations just seem to get stronger and stronger, with the following of the six keys. There are of course good days and bad days.

As for the other, somewhat wierder, experiences they just seem to come when it's time, and go when it's time. The only thing I can say is that the more I follow the six keys the more of these experiences I have.
